Vintage White Bakelite SEKO Electric Butler Alarm Internal Door Bell

Never miss another ring on the door of your home, shop, or business with this wonderful Vintage White Bakelite SEKO No. 1073 Electric Butler Alarm Internal Door Bell. 

The Gong diameter is approximately 6.9 cm (2.5 inches), and the bell operates at 6 volts.

A great piece of vintage history, (dates to about the 1950s), in unused condition, with scratches and scuffs commensurate with age and use. It even comes in its original cardboard box! The bell is slightly rusty and corroded in parts. I haven't tried to polish it as some people prefer to see the original patina.

This double coil bell, Made in Germany, is probably not up to current IEE regulations and would need to be installed by a qualified electrician.

This type of bell was often used as a door opening alarm for shops/post offices as well as to augment the sound of the external door bell in homes and railway signal boxes.
