This is a vintage Japanese mid Showa Era (mid 1900's) bronze Orin (singing bowl) set complete with cushion, striker and stand. All hand hammered by a master artisan.

This style of bowl is favored by Japanese Buddhist sects for is low mellow tone. Often used to begin and end meditation sessions or when praying at the family alter. It remains in very vintage good condition.
